The Social Sciences Institute was founded on May 29th, 2007 based on the article 19 law no 2547 of Academic Organization Regulation in Universities, Organization and Operation Regulation of Graduate Education-Training Institutes and Postgraduate Education-Training Regulation. This institute is responsible for carrying out postgraduate activities in line with the principles and definitions specified by the said regulations.
The main purpose of this institute is to train lecturers for Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University. In addition, it is also among the aims of this institute to train qualified manpower in the province of Nevşehir and its surroundings. It will be at the disposal of the region and the country's development with its talented manpower, who are aware of scientific methods, equipped with the ability to operate and interpret existing information in favor of society.
